Dear America Wiki

I Am Canada is a spin-off of Scholastic Canada's Dear Canada series. The series began publication in 2010 with Paul Yee's Blood and Iron. It produced one or two books a year until the latest, Sniper Fire, was released in 2016. Scholastic Canada also publishes several of the books in French under the title, Au Canada ("In Canada").

The series is similar to the My Name Is America series by featuring male protagonist and having similar topics. Many of the books focus on war, including World War I, World War II, the Seven Years' War, and the War of 1812. Other topics in I Am Canada are the building of the transcontinental railroad, the sinking of the RMS Titanic, and John Franklin's lost expedition.
